This
nine-member board meets monthly to set policies and to review
operations and financial reports of the cooperative. They follow seven cooperative principles in their
decision-making as they guide the cooperative:
- Voluntary
and open membership
- Democratic
control
- Members'
economic participation
- Autonomy
and independence
- Education,
training, and information
- Cooperation
among cooperatives
- Concern
for community
Soon it will
be time to think about attending your cooperatives annual
meeting. Be sure to mark your calendar for September 8, 2008 at the Clarke Community
High School Auditorium! We look forward to seeing you.
We have great entertainment lined up and as always, great pork
sandwiches. Two directors are at their term limits and are
not eligible for re-election. We will be electing two new
directors from District 2 and 6. Directors
