Chad McIntosh has officially begun his new role as CEO/General Manager of Clarke Electric Cooperative, bringing with him nearly three decades of experience and a strong understanding of cooperative values and operations.
Chad has spent 28 years with Clarke Electric, beginning his career in May 1998 as an apprentice lineman. Over the years, he worked his way through several roles, including journeyman lineman, construction foreman, and Manager of Operations. His experience across many areas of the cooperative has given him a practical, hands-on perspective that will serve him well in his new position.
A native of Osceola, Chad has a deep appreciation for the communities served by the cooperative and the people who make it successful.
“I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve as CEO,” Chad said. “This cooperative has been a big part of my life and career, and I appreciate the trust that’s been placed in me.”
He also spoke about the employees and membership that make the cooperative strong.
“We have a great group of employees who care about the work they do and the members they serve,” he said. “I’m thankful to work alongside such dedicated people every day.”
As he settles into the role, Chad says his focus will remain on supporting employees, serving members, and continuing the cooperative’s commitment to reliable service and community involvement.
